OK, it sounds like the cleared up the SoL issue-- none applicable in MD for this accusation.
To emphasize: the Republicans denied everything investigatory, eleven to ten. Sen Leahy had a totally legitimate question about the Kav’s possession of information that was stolen. That was a legit question that deserved a legit answer.
All this hearing has certified is that he has no business being anywhere near the bench, let alone be on the SCOTUS.

This hearing is peaking my anxiety issues. Goddamn, this is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever watched on the TeeVee. I missed the entirety of Dr. Ford’s testimony - I just got home at around 3:00 (I was keeping up, periodically, via Twitter).
He should have had a MUCH better answer to the FBI investigation question. Just say “it’s not up to me to determine the process this Committee uses”.
