Just remembered…A friend of mine used to belong to a group (nationwide) called ‘Ground Zero’. The idea being NOT to be one of the walking dead, so when the sirens went off they were to head TO a known designated site. He had all kinds of maps showing targets. Lost touch wiyh the guy but a search might turn up the group if they still exist.
Why is it that no matter how many times I proof-read, mistakes don’t catch my eye until after I post. Then they jump out at you.

I seem to recall that Michael Moore did a bit on his TV Nation program about the nuke that was targeted on his hometown of Flint, MI. He started the bit at the front of the ex-GM assembly plant where the bomb was apparently targeted, then the bit moved on to Russia where he somehow found the missile that had been programmed to take out Flint and had it deactivated. I remember a fake Russian protest with a sign that said “No nuke-ski Flint-ski” being in involved somehow as well.
Not sure how much of that was just Moore having fun with some Russian military types playing along after being suitably greased with hard currency though.
