I’m not asking to find out who might have put me on an ignore list. I’m asking: Is there a way to find out if someone finds my posts that irritating? If so, can you tell me how many?

There’s no way, and discussion of the content of one’s ignore list on this board is verboten. No harm in your question, but my sense is that the administration is planning on taking this seriously.
As White Lightning has correctly pointed out, we have left the “ignore” and “buddy” list features turned on, but we are asking members not to publically discuss who they’re ignoring or buddying with. See Arnold’s post on the subject in the “Guidelines for posting at the SDMB” FAQ at the top of the ATMB forum.
Okay, okay. I won’t discuss, um, that concept I asked about…whatever it was.

Also, to appease the curious: There is no way for PosterX to tell if s/he is on PosterY’s ignore or buddy list.
I don’t see an “ignore” option. I don’t particularly want to put anyone on it, but now I’m curious. Where is it?
Click on the f.a.q.[sup]1[/sup] button at the top of the screen, read what it says about buddy and ignore lists, and come back here if you have any more questions.
[sup]1[/sup]The f.a.q. button brings you to the f.a.q. for vBulletin features.
The first rule of the Ignore List is…you do not talk about the Ignore List!
OK, sorry.
Click on the “user cp” button at the top of the page (it’s right next to the big blue and yellow “The Straight Dop®e” logo). You’ll see a number of control panel options, including buttons for both the buddy list and the ignore list.
What I’d really like to see is a “Please Ignore my Buddy” list, for those taking the same side as me in a debate and making a bad job of it.
If other people are responding to someone who’s on your ignore list, doesn’t that tend to render the thread confusing-to-meaningless? At least to the person who uses the feature.
kaylasdad99 - there was a long discussion on pros/cons of the ignore list in ATMB. I don’t think we need to revisit it in this thread.
I’m ignoring your first post count kaylasdad99.
Yeah, that’s probably a good idea, donkeyoatey.
Thank you Arnold, I’ll go look for that now.
