Can I Get a Swedish Translation, Please?

Cute video here:

“Eva, one of our four million owners, has her cat insured with Folksam. This here movie is for you. [I believe I can fly…] What does your heart beat for? Visit folksam.se to request what our next ad should be about.”

Folksam is a mutual insurance company. That means it’s owned by it’s four million policy holders.

Disappointing. I thought it was going to be about pet food.

By an odd coincidence just last night I was reading a study from Sweden about life insurance for cats, someting I’d never heard of before then. They were using the data to estimate lifespans of various breeds in this article (the abstract is free, but you have to pay to read the whole thing).

Are you sure that’s not “insured for vet’s bills” rather than “you get money when they die” like human life insurance? Basically, cat health insurance?

Because I’ve never heard of it either and I am a cat owner in Sweden.

You have mutual insurances for…cats ???

Folksam is one of Sweden’s largest insurance companies, they insure other things too.

And it’s not actually owned by cats.
