I have a business idea for the internet, but would have no idea how to implement it. Is it possible to sell business ideas? Can you “patent” a business idea?
One problem that I’ve heard about is that companies do not like to talk to people about ideas for legal reasons. Say they are working on something already that is like you’re idea. You talk to them about your idea and suddenly you have a claim that they are copying you. Then there is the NIH[sup]not invented here[/sup] type of resistance.

Dude, there are a billion great business ideas out there. An idea is worthless. It’s the sweat that makes it something. You know, 1% inspiration, 99% persperation?
