I’ve seen the vehicles they drive and for the most part they just have stock rims.
That would be quite a boon for dealers of counterfeit merchandise if it were illegal to return them. Imagine the following phone call:
Me: I need to return these rims, they’re counterfeit.
Seller: Ha ha! The jokes on you. If you return them, I’ll turn you over to the proper authorities.
