Can I take Claritin and Pseudovent PED at the same time?

Mornin’ all. (Well, it’s 11:31am where I am right now.)

I guess I could call Walgreen’s to get this answer, but man, the people at Walgreen’s really annoy me.

So, to you all.

I was at the doctor earlier this week with a sore throat and hives. He prescribed me a Z-pac and a decongestant (pseudovent PED). He mentioned that the Claritin OTC I’ve been taking for my hay fever was a good remedy for my hives.

Sooooo… a few days later and the hives aren’t getting any better and my head is starting to feel like it’s full of goo. Should also mention that I’ve developed a cough and pressure in my chest.

Can I take Claritin and Pseudovent PED at the same time?

(I also take Effexor and Celexa, and I gotta tell ya, taking zithromax, Claritin, Effexor, Celexa, Pseudovent and a multi vitamin all in one day seems like an awful lot of pills!!)

Dude, that’s quite a chemical cocktail you’ve got going there. Call either Walgreen’s, or your doctor, and ask them.

Even the FDA won’t tell exactly what kind of drug interactions you can get into with Celexa, to name just one.

Talk to an expert, or at least someone who’s covered by malpractice insurance if he tells you the wrong thing and your nose suddenly turns black and falls off or something…

niblet_head. I’ve closed the thread before it gets involved in too much medical advice. DDG gave you the best–ask a qualified professional, either a pharmacist or a doctor.
