Can live web content be added to a PowerPoint file?

I am looking to put current weather information (like wx.com) and a live shot from our company web cam into a video bulletin board that I maintain for an in house TV feed at work. The video bulletin board is just a normal PowerPoint slideshow. Is there a way to add items like these to a PowerPoint file?
