Can my exericse bike's magnet damage my PC?

I bought this recumbent exercise bike, and had the idea to use it while surfing the web. This bike uses a magnet instead of physical friction to create resistance.

The way my office is set up, the business end of the bike would be next to my PC. Can any engineer types predict if this magnet is powerful enough to cause damage to my PC by being in close proximity?

PC’s usually have a metal case shielding the internals. The magnetic field from the magnet is pretty well diminished in strength unless your bike is right up against.
Simplest solution to rest you pretty head is to move the magnet end as far away as possible from the PC or Move the PC.
Use a wireless keyboard and a LCD monitor. A magnet can/will affect a CRT display.

Your safe threshold for EMI would be anything below 3 milligauss.

 High Magnetic Field sources.....

 AC wall Adapters
 Vacuum Cleaner or Motorized Equipment
 TV Screens

These type of sources will be above 10 milligauss.
