Can rocks/stones heal?

I don’t think anybody who believes in this kind of stuff is going to tell you anything that’s even remotely plausible scientifically.

A lot of this kind of trippy healing stuff is based on people wanting to believe it. Be sure not to suspend your common sense and skepticism just because you think it sounds nice.

Wha? Anyone know how a rock performs complex reactions involving fusion? :dubious:

Sadly, after even one session, you’d probably suffer from a severe tooth deficiency.

Whoosh! Belrix said:

He’s saying they absorb radiant heat energy from the Sun (fusing hydrogen) and get warm. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, fuck me with a bagel.

Far from healing, in fact, recent studies show that rocks and stones can actually break one’s bones if used improperly.

I had a few stones during my life. I was truly happy when they passed on to the next part of thier journey. They were nothing but a cause of great pain to me. My doctor explained that I shall see the return of my stones later in life. I would be more than happy to donate them to you, though you may not return them for any reason what so ever.

The question was; “Do stones really have energy?” Things like stones, sigils, candle magic, spells, psychic manifestations, visualizing, tarot cards, spells, Ouija boards, astrology…etc, have always been a part of the occult. Witches use them, and they only work for the one who has willful intent for them to do so. For instance, for me, bloodstone is a filter that removes negativity from me when I hold it between both hands on a prayer position. For someone else, another stone may be their choice.

To someone who does not believe that these things exist, you’ll always be looked at as; “You’re nuts.” I’m not saying I have crystals all over the place like the man whose roommate placed them all over the place. I have my own small collection Crystals are really only for you, and they are yours, not to be touched by someone else who can place their energy on them. They only have the energy you put into them.

Different people have different religions, and people have their viewpoints about each. Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Jewish and Wiccan. Crystals are definitely Wiccan, and therefore will not be for everybody.

Zombie stones!

How handy.

Mick isn’t going to appreciate that.

Don’t feel bad. Many of the people here give no more credence to Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, or Jewish beliefs than they do to Wiccan ones.

I would think you could get a straight or credible answer from…I don’t know…a geology book?

The only straight or credible answer is: No.

Well, lots of major league baseball players wear those allegedly performance-enhancing Phiten necklaces.

"Developed in Japan, the nylon-coated titanium necklaces are intended to promote pain relief and enhance performance through improved circulation and stress reduction.

Hey, all the MLB players who believe in them are in the majors, so they’ve gotta work, right?* Except one of the star players wearing one was/is Johan Santana, who’s been on the disabled list much of the last few years, so maybe the necklaces hold a Wiccan curse.

*or baseball players are gullible superstitious jackasses.

Word.

Shodan

Is there anything in your rock collection that gives you a telepathy ability? The OP hasn’t posted for close to ten years, so she probably isn’t going to be reading your response.

 Crystals have a magical history that precedes Wicca by a few thousand years. Wicca may appreciate crystals, but that does not make crystals Wiccan. There are many paths that place meaning on crystals.

Have you got a cite for that claim?

greywolf333 Johnson is right. I’d also like to add that it’s as fine a bit of genuine new age blather and doublespeak as I’ve ever had the pleasure to hear.

Nope

I know they’re holding up pretty well after 50 years together and one of their tunes can get me up and moving around.

I feel healed when my kidney stones pass. Really truly healed.
