Can SDMB Members achieve consensus on ANYTHING?

The lazy freak’n dawg of indeterminate colour jumped over the reclining bovine.

Did I leave out any letters? (note: I didn’t say “letter’s”)

I’m dead serious when I say that, in the vast majority of situations, I don’t like pie.

Sorry :frowning:
Actually, this is kind of an interesting question. I was thinking of posting a similar question to Cafe Society to see if we could come up with something in pop culture (book, movie, author, actor, personality, whatever) that every single person on the SDMB likes.

A few possibilities:
The Princess Bride (book or movie)
The Wizard of Oz (book or movie)
The Godfather (movie)
Goodnight Moon
Where the Wild Things Are
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Titanic (ha ha)

You forgot Office Space, Max.

So I do indeed dream the impossible dream.

Not only is my own initial offering shot down relatively quickly, but even Angel of the Lord’s seemingly inarguable statement:

gets flack from XJETGIRLX.

Which leads to wonder, were we a democratic nation, could we hope to rule ourselves intelligently?

Personally I’m gonna take a little break from trashing Congress. It’s harder than it look to make and pass a law. :smack:

The Princess Bride (book or movie)– loved it, never read it
The Wizard of Oz (book or movie)– hated it, never read it
The Godfather (movie)– loved it
Goodnight Moon– loved it
Where the Wild Things Are– never read it
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon– eh…
Titanic (ha ha)– never saw it, on principal

Let’s just all agree that we’ll never acheive consensus on anything.

If something were to happen to you and your spouse, you would NOT want Marv Albert to raise your kids.

YESSS!!

No, I still have a dream. One day, we WILL achieve consensus.

Someone at SDMB has the same birthday as me.

January 26th.

Nope. No agreement on that one. In the Cafe thread Waco Jacko interview there’s plenty of stuff like:

Turns out I was misremembering the details; I won’t link to it because the member in question only began from partial agreement with him, then recanted the position.

Sorry, I despise The Princess Bride. I used to like it, but now find it horribly overrated.

The consensus answer to the OP is “no”.
