He posts about one topic, and one only: outsourcing. Here’s his latest creation. We don’t need 14 of his threads in the Pit and GD. We don’t really need any, but there’s no accounting for taste, etc.
Can we just roll all his threads into one and keep them there? Please?
I think there is precedent for doing something like that. I don’t remember the details, but it seems like someone was limited to one thread on a particular topic some time ago. Seems like an appropriate “last chance to avoid banned camp” step in this instance.
That was Reeder and his Bush-bashing threads.
There was also **mookieblaylock **for his constant Eeyore/Marvin the Paranoid Android impressions. He was told to keep it to one thread but failed.
They did the same with lekatt and the whole NDE thing.
That’s pretty much the case already. He has only one active thread in Great Debates, so I don’t think we need to do anything about it right now.
I’m happy to live with “one thread on the first page”.

As for the subject of this OP, I would rather have the mods issue a warning about starting multiple threads on the same subject and if the poster can’t follow those directions, just ban his ass. Why bend over backwards to help someone not get himself banned?
Because that sort of moderation tends to devolve into forums that are just echo-chambers. Helping the “idiots” with other opinions avoid banning tends to encourage alternate opinions, that can lead to interesting debate threads. Just sayin…
Ridiculous argument.
This thread is not about any specific political belief; it is about reining in posters who do nothing but harp on about the same thing over and over and over, especially when they keep starting new threads on essentially the same topic. It just gets annoying, even to people who might happen to agree with the person in question.
Good that this thread is here then, Chen019 already pissed several posters with his “I will hijack threads with my race issues one trick pony” moves.
