I’m not a big media-conspiracy guy, but this is one of those cases where I just wish the media would quit hashing the Lance thing over and over.
I mean, is there really a huge number of people that have anything hinging on this one way or another. Can’t it just go away already? Nothing made me happier when Bonds finally disappeared. If the whole Lance thing disappeared, I’d be thankful.
And it kills me that the US Govt. is spending money investigating Lance. Like we can’t find anything important to work on?
Look, a lot of us find Lance Armstrong to be really annoying, so we want to see him cut down like the rest of the people we can’t stand. Now if that isn’t justification enough to assume he is guilty, then this really is a lame subject.
I see that - a lot of people felt the same way about Bonds. They were happy when he got caught because he was a jerk. Hell, I felt the same way.
But I’m just tired of seeing it over and over and over. They trot out some new guy that accuses Lance, he denies, nothing gets settled, and it starts over again. That scenario has been going on for years.
Just bust him or give it up already! Let’s move on.
Odd, but I watched the entire 60 Minutes interview last night, and I agree that Hamilton’s facial expressions and overall demeanor absolutely SCREAMED “He’s fucking lying!!!” at the top of their lungs to me, but even with that, I still truly believe that he was more or less telling the truth, at least as far as the meat of the doping allegations are concerned.
I can’t ever remember feeling this way about someone before, when my gut tells me that I am being bullshitted, but my head tells me that I am actually hearing the truth…
