That was a serious thread, where a fellow poster had a real problem. So, there’s two choices:
- You didn’t understand the word “defalcation” and thought I made a funny typo.
- You thought it’d be funny to shit in a serious thread.
Which is it?
i.e. the defalcator.:p:p
Well, the line is “with all due respect.” Never in the dialogue do they ever quantify how much respect is actually due.
Obviously.
Right. Every time I have been forced into a position where I must say “with all due respect”, my brain is quietly adding “(zero)”.
So basically, any form of sarcasm, or irony.
That was neither- at best it was a cheap shot on a play on words to get a chuckle in a serious thread.
We love sarcasm and irony around here.
As long as you think it’s funny and not misplaced. What’s next, requesting all jests be marked as such, à la the departed Smashy?
