Can you categorize my religious beliefs?

Inspired by another thread, I’m not exactly sure where I fit in the grand scale of theistic beliefs. I’m wondering if more educated dopers can help summarize/categorize (eg., atheist, agnostic etc) my personal beliefs.

-I can’t say for certain whether or not there is a god but I highly doubt it.

-Humans could not possibly understand god in any way if there somehow was one.

-Again, IF there is a god or gods, they have no bearing on day to day human trivialities. Concepts like prayer, church, sin, faith, salvation etc., are absurd.

-There is no afterlife or any type of eternal reward/punishment for human behaviour. See above concepts.

I always just say I’m an atheist but I guess it’s a little more complicated than that. Wondering if there is a more accurate answer I could give people if I’m asked about my stance and willing to indulge in the conversation.

Atheism and agnosticism are broad zones with lots of nuances.

If you don’t know whether there is a God or not, you’d be an agnostic (the way the word is used today.)

But your rejection of organized religion moves you toward the “atheist” end of the agnostic spectrum.

Your idea that humans could not possibly understand God only means that you have an opinion regarding theological matters, in a sort of subjunctive fashion. (“I don’t believe in God…and even if God did exist, he would partake of this or that quality.”) Sort of an “encumbered” atheism.

This actually isn’t uncommon among atheists: many’s the atheist who has said, “I don’t believe in God, but if the God portrayed in Genesis exists, he seems like a very cruel person, so I could never worship him anyway.”
