is that a very sturdy/hard to destroy vehicle designed to go offroad and do things like jump over bumps and hills at 25mph or is it more for just driving on flat terrain?

Go-carts like those are not only just for flat terrain but paved as well. You’re looking for something like this, a Honda Odyssey or Pilot.

Based on the pictures, I’d say it’s a weak, cheap, chinese steel frame. Also, the tie rods look like they’re twice the thickness of coat hangers.

To drive on all types of terrain, you’d probably want to use an all terrain vehicle (ATV).
