My friend got three-year lease on a BMW and her situation has changed, so she would love to not have the lease payment. Does anyone know if there is any way out of a car lease?

I dont know if that particular lease has a buyout, but there is a website called Swap a Lease. I assume its swapalease.com, but don’t quote me on that. Lots of folks looking to assume a lease off look out there.
The first place to look is the lease contract itself. There may be provisions in it for voluntarily returning the vehicle early. eg: Return the vehicle in excellent condition and pay $xxx penalty and you’re off the hook.
The contract should also state whether it can be assigned to or assumed by someone else.
Failing that, call the leasing company and explain the situation.
