Can you have sex on a tempur-pedic bed?

Yes, of course you can.

They do make you work a little more. Mine seems to absorb more movement than my old innerspring mattress.

Ours hasn’t slowed down our sex life in the least.

You have obviously not had sex with my old girlfriend.

If you’re going to rape your daughter, be sure to get the repressed-memory foam mattress.

(if they have wi-fi in Hell I’ll still keep posting these)

We got one…those misleading bastards…I spent all night night cleaning up spilt wine after trying to do the nasty…

Tempur-pedic? Bah. Kinderspiel.

Now, sex in a Kraftmatic Adjustable, complete with the remote that controls the angles, *that *has possibilities.

Right. I hate sex on tempurpedic beds. There is no bounce back effect. If you’re into slow sex then it’s probably fine but if you like the bounce effect of an innerspring during sex you won’t like the tempurpedic.

If you’re dead set on getting one, don’t bother even getting a full mattress; it’s a waste of money. Just get a cheap mattress and put a $100-150 3 inch memory foam topper on it. NOT a 1 or 2 in topper, but a full 3 inch one. Nobody feels past the first few inches (pun not intended!).

QFT!

Forget it then. Dealbreaker. Where’s the fun in that?

My wife and I can’t stand our celebrity tp memory foam bed for making woopie.
You might as well try it in quicksand.
In the winter it turns to rock. In the summer it turns into mud.

those things are dangerous. i almost broke my nose on one.

tie a board across your ass.

Tempur-pedic comes in various levels of squashiness. On some, you just sink slightly into the surface, while others swallow you whole.

I have the second-firmest one they sell (which incidentally is the cheapest one as well), and there are no logistical difficulties.

This is what I would suggest.

I always thought that Tempur-pedics where those beds that had remote controls for the hydraulic lifts on each side. I never knew that it was just a soft foam bed.
When I saw the title, I was picturing the OP using the remote to winch their partner up and down to get them into the right position:
Mrrr-Rarr-Rurr-Rarr-Rurrrr
“No, Howard, that’s too high. Lower.”

Mrrr-Rarr-Rurr-Rarr-Rurrrr
“Betty, that angle won’t work…”

Mrrr-Rarr-Rurr-Rarr-Rurrrr
“Howard, that’s almost it…”

Mrrr-Rarr-Rurr-Rarr-Rurrrr
“No… too far.

Mrrr-Rarr-Rurr-Rarr-Rurrrr
“OK, that’s close. Just tap the button, Howard. Just tap it.”

“That’s It…!”
“Ok, I’m going to lock this setting. I don’t care if the bed IS hard to make…”
“Oh, Howard! You DO love me…!”

I don’t think you’re supposed to keep it outside. That may void the warranty.:stuck_out_tongue:

Yes. But it is lower to the ground then most mattresses with box springs.

This was an issue for my husband and I the first time we tried doggie style off the edge of the bed (with him standing). One of my favorite positions. He is so much taller than me, we had to make some adjustments.

But the lack of bounce back from the bed actually makes sex better. YMMV.

Just wondering about everyone who talks about sinking into the foam - do you sleep directly on the mattress? I’ve got a 4" memory foam topper and using a mattress pad and a sheet, I’ve managed to keep from sinking while still enjoying the comfort and support. Maybe I levitate when I sleep - who knows?

Not just yes, but hell yes!
