Can you help ID this 80s song (is it "Two Tribes")?

Heard it the other day on the radio, during 80s hour.

It doesn’t quite sound like Frankie Goes to Holywood’s Holly Johnson singing, but the song’s content makes me think it might be “Two Tribes” (heard OF the song, never actually heard the song).

The only lyrics I can recall (IIRC, it’s the song’s chorus):

Dream on, black boy!
Dream on, white girl!

(The lyric about the “black boy” is verbatim. I think it is repeated again about a “white girl”. The tone of the singing of these lyrics is somewhat contrived and mocking)

Original Sin by INXS.

The band is INXS, but I can’t remember the song’s title.
I’ll go see if it shows up at lyrics.com.

Never mind…Hodge beat me to it by just a few seconds with his/her post.

Just Googled it myself … it’s on purelyrics.com.

Thanks Hodge! Was it a popular song? I remember only one hit single – The One Thing – from INXS before Kick came out, but that was from an earlier album than whatever contains Original Sin.

Original Sin just have been a club hit ot something.

It was the first INXS tune I’d ever heard and it prompted me to buy The Swing (1984), the album it was on. It was a minor hit that briefly broke into the top 40 here in Canada.
