I recently bought a new monitor and didn’t realize that my computer from 2007 doesn’t support its highest resolution. I figure now is a good time to upgrade my PC.
The goal is to have a PC that I can use to watch HD movies and do light web browsing relatively quickly. I don’t play games on my PC, so there is no video card. The motherboard supports an HDMI connection and 2560x1440 resolution, which is the highest resolution my monitor supports.
I will probably find another SSD drive on Newegg just so they can ship everything together. The operating system I will buy from a local store if I cannot find anyone else who will let me use their copy for free.
Is there anything on this list that I’m neglecting? Anything I can do to make this PC better?
