OK, here are some very grainy photos of an actor. Photos #1 and #2 are from one TV program. Photos #3 and #4 are from another.
Are two sets of photos the same actor? (This actor is not credited in the program in photos #1 and #2. I know who it is in #3 and #4.
Bonus points (whether it’s the same or not) if you can actually name the actor in question–or even some other program that he’s been in. (The other actors in the first photo are gimmes, so they’re not in question.
Aren’t #3 and #4 John Saxon? I don’t know what TV show he was on, but he’s played heavies in films for decades (most notably, for the Geek Scene, with Joe Don Baker in Mitchell).
I can’t really tell if #1 and #2 are him, as well. I’d say no, but the pictures are so bad and distorted that I’m not sure.
I don’t know who he is, but he’s definitely not John Saxon.
Number 2 looks an awful lot like Eric Braeden. Number 3, 4 kinda resembles Cliff Gorman, but cuter.
Not sure about the first two, but maybe a younger Richard Bakalyan?

OK, I suspected this might have been a bad choice of photos. Here’s exactly what I’m looking for:
I think these two sets are the same person. I know who the second set is. The actor in the first set is not credited, and I’m looking for some opinions on it. Unfortunately, the DVD ROM drive on my home computer doesn’t work, so I couldn’t get real screen caps. So far, it doesn’t seem that anyone’s thinking they’re the same, but (if they are) that could be due to the poor quality of the photos.
I’ll bring the disks to work (where I have a working DVD ROM drive) and see if I can get a better quality snapshot.
One other reason that I think these are the same actor, aside from the point that on a real TV screen, there’s more of a resemblance, is that both are pretty tall. Mike Connors (first photo) is a legitimate six-footer plus, and this stands well over him. It’s less obvious in the second two because of the way it’s photgraphed.
The noses between #2 and #3 look different. #3’s nose is more blunt, while #2 has more a nose tip.
The actor in 3 & 4 looks like a young Earl Holliman to me.
I don’t think 1&2 are the same as 3&4. #2 resembles Jeroen Krabbe to me.
Earl Holliman was young in the 1950s (e.g., Forbidden Planet). By the 1970s, when it looks like these pictures were filmed, Holliman was in his 40s and co-starring on Police Woman.
