The one of them is rich. . . thread reminded me of a movie I saw on TV when I was very young. It stuck with me because I found the plot so strange. A mentally challenged girl runs away from home and ends up with a poor (possibly homeless) man with no legs and they fall in love. Towards the end we find out she comes from a very rich family who, I sort of vaguely remember, kind of locked her away in their big house because of her deficiency.
I don’t know if it was originally made for TV, so it may be older but I saw it in the mid to late '70s. Any ideas?
Holy crap! You know, I thought I had asked this before but wasn’t sure. You’d think I’d remember asking it more than once! I blame all the alcohol I’ve consumed over the last 16 years.
