a boy (B) was arrested for inciting another boy (A) to murder him (B). Apart from being very odd, this would seem to be a suicide attempt - not a murder attempt? I suppose A would be guilty of attempted murder, but B? What would be the case in the US?
IANAL and the answer may vary by jurisdiction but in reviewing Wisconsin’s laws it does not appear that the law makes any exception to conspiring to commit a murder if one of the conspirators is the intended victim. There’s no place other than Oregon where assisted suicide is legal, and there only under certain closely prescribed circumstances. Soliciting someone over the internet to kill you is not one of those circumstances.
