Other. I’m vaguely familiar with the concept because I spend a lot of time is waiting rooms and wind up reading the celebrity magazines. I know there’s that Teresa person, whose face gives me the willies, and there’s Kelsey Grammer’s ex-wife, who is apparently beautiful but viciously insane.
I’m in this group, too. I’m aware of the shows, but only because I’ve heard about them elsewhere. The people on the shows (and I lump Jersey Shore in here) are “famous for being famous”, not for having any actual talent. Of course, this has its limitations; they’re so famous that I’ve either never heard of them, or if I have, I have no context for them.
I don’t watch the show. I had a hard time coming up with one of the names - I saw this thread days ago - I think Snookie is one of them. Other than that, I don’t have a clue.
