The song from this Youtube video. Please?
It’s from the soundtrack of Schindler’s List. Not sure which track.
Thank you, but no, it isn’t. I just listened to samples from the soundtrack.
Are you sure of that, MTCicero? I thought I remembered the music from Schindler’s List pretty well, and that doesn’t sound familiar to me. Not that my memory’s 100% these days! (And it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s Itzhak Perlman playing on the track.)
Edited to add: Just noticed the track is listed on the video as the Adagio from Secret Garden.
Edited again to add: Dammit! Now I’m getting scooped by people who post after me!!!
This is the link on the Youtube page.

Hope that helps.
Thank you!!! It’s really beautiful.
What link is there on the Youtube page? I hope I would’ve noticed a link…:o
Sorry about that. I was positive that it sounded like a John Williams/Itzhak Perlman cut from SL.
I guess I’d better turn in my John Williams Fan Club card, no?
You see where it says Buy this song on Amazon / iTunes? Click the Amazon (or iTunes) link and badaboom! There’s the song. Luckily it’s not an automatic purchase so you’re not risking anything.
MTCicero – Don’t turn in your card! It was a great guess, and it sounds quite Williams-and-Schindlery. I’ve just seen the movie so many times that I would’'ve expected to recognize a tune from it. (Williams probably wouldn’t have included something this upbeat on the soundtrack… I know it’s listed as an Adagio but the tune, while pretty, isn’t nearly bittersweet to match the rest of the score. Also BTW, it’s nice to see that in addition to our mutual Peanuts love, we also share an appreciation for the much-maligned John Williams!)
Why don’t I have that link on the Youtube page? I’ve googled for screenshots, and I don’t see anything where it’s supposed to be.
And MTCicero, don’t worry! I already had a handkerchief close by.
Here you go. Look for the text to the right of the big blue arrow.
Is it possible you’re still using the old YouTube layout?
Thank you, choie, for your patience! My page looks like this.
Hmm! Interesting. I tried logging out from YouTube to see if it was something restricted to guests, but nope, I still saw the Amazon/iTunes links.
Next I switched IPs by using my handy-dandy VPN, which lets me surf via a UK network. Went to the YouTube link again, and noticed that the “Download This Song” link was still there, but now only iTunes was available.
So my question to you is: are you outside the US, perhaps in a country where neither Amazon.com nor iTunes is available?
I am outside the US (in Romania), but Amazon (at least books, CDs, and DVDs) and iTunes are available.
Ah, well, maybe Youtube just doesn’t have an agreement yet with iTunes.ro or Amazon.ro (or whatever the equivalents would be). Seems like that’s the most likely explanation, because otherwise your screenshot looks identical as far as I can tell.
I’m just glad the song was that easily found thanks to the “Download This” link! Usually tracks that aren’t identified by the video’s author are much tougher nuts to crack.
OK, thank you! It would’ve been kinda cool to have it…
