Can you sleep with your eyes open?

My little brother sleeps with his eyes half way open. He never complains of side effects, or dry eyes. In fact, you can tell he’s fake sleeping when his eyes are closed. And yes, it’s very freaky.

“Life is hard…but God is good”

There was a guy in basic training that slept with his eyes open. And, since alot of nicknames get assigned while in basic, he was known thereafter as “Zombie.”

As for time without sleep… I have occasional insomnia bouts where I might not sleep at all for a couple of nights, or maybe get an hour or two a night. God, I hate that. My body feels like gravity has increased and my mind feels like it’s full of cotton.

This is getting hard. Somebody relieve me. (A Wallian exclamation)

Xenopus, that’s incredible! I never heard of this guy before, but you can bet i’m firing up the old seach engine as we speak. By the way, what ever became of vitamin k? Does it still exist? Do we know what chemical compounds are used to make it? Not that i really want to take any, but it would be interesting to know

“Through twilight, darkness and moonrise
My scarlet tears will run
As stolen blood and whispered love
Of fantasies undone”

My mother and my aunt both sleep with their eyes open. They complain of dryness.

My 5 month old son also sleeps with his eyes half open, and as already mentioned above, his pupils roll back in his head and move around. It’s weird!
