What the title said. Are you going to hang onto any pennies? Perhaps a set of 'em by year?
I have some shiny recent ones that I may keep. The rest are going to Coinstar or charity.
I am going to do the floor of my upstairs bathroom in pennies. I also have some small copper coins from my travels over the years that I am going to slip in there. I should have enough to do it soon. I have my friends saving them up for me.
I told my mother I would help her make penny bracelets for my nieces. By help, I mean do it.
Nope - I rolled as many as I could and took them to the bank. The teller asked me if I had checked for any “valuable” ones. No, I didn’t; I figure the chances are too slim of me finding any of significant value to bother. That’s the first time I’ve ever been asked that question and I’ve taken rolls of coins to the bank many times!
I have a few left (not enough to make a roll). I’ll probably throw them away eventually. Not even enough for me to bother finding one of the charities that is collecting them.
Sure, I’ll save them. Why not. I have a penny jar already, I’ll just toss in the last from my wallet’s coin section, and that will be it.
Nope.
I have a few jars full of pennies. I guess I’ll keep some.
