Yes, I know that we dog lovers want our pets to be little humans…and dogs are very different from us. however, i give you the case of daisy (our 3 yo Australian Shepherd-ex shelter dog. We have another dog-a male 8 yo English Springer Spaniel (Buddy). Buddy is mellow, and shares with the other dog. On occasion, be will growl if daisy pokes her nose into the food bowl. But anyway: I give each dog a treat (a little rawhide bone). Each do takes theirs…10 minutes later, Buddy has wandered off-and daisy snatches his bone! She will lie down-with one paw covering the bone she stoile 9and the other in her mouth)! She will growl if you try to take the one she’s hoarding.
So is this the same a human greed?
