Is there any Swann left?
Hang the bastard, hang him high,
Hoist his body to the sky!
Shut the fuck up Swann.
Swann!!! Shut the fuck up!
We . . . are . . . Indians!
Fudge Packer?
While the movie is really, really funny, it is at least TEN TIMES funnier when viewed on DVD with the commentary track turned on.
“Just a bunch of gay miners…”
Chief: Look at all these… teepees… we have. Because… we are Indians!
Chief: I’m afraid there is terrible storm in the mountains. So, if you like, you may wait here with us and other… assholes… for storm to caaalm dooown.
Packer: What other assholes?
Chief: Ten days ago, a group of assholes like yourselves came through here.
A local community college actually performed Cannibal! The Musical a few months ago.
They had a Troma festival here in Houston weekend before last and C:TM was the last film they showed. We had a tendency to sing along. Is there a soundtrack album out there? I’d love to drive down the freeway belting “When I Was on Top of You”.
Bunch of Utes…
The only DVD I know of C:TM in Reykjavík was damaged somehow and the owners of the rental don’t seem to be in a hurry to replace it… I’ll have to get a credit card and order it from Amazon, it seems.
It’s without the merest inkling of a suggestion of a shadow of doubt the best movie ever made. I firmly belive that cinematography was invented for the sole purpose of this film being made. SNenc speaks the truth, the commentary made me laugh hard enough to annoy the Gods themselves.
Ahh, a classic.
Every time I see that “Braniff” logo at the end of South Park, accompanied by the little tune from Cannibal, it brings back fond memories.
And I second watching this with the commentary on (at least once). Hilarious.
I’m trying to remember all the songs. Off the top of my head,
Shpedoinkle Day
Let’s Build a Snowman
The Hunters Song (whatever it’s called)
On Top of You.
All classics. I feel like I’m missing one (or two) though. Any help?
Fudge, Packer?
Damn! I see someone already posted my last post.
My favorite tune from the movie is The Trapper’s Song.
Yo Hooooooooo…
oh no! giz-master zero! who’ll sa…oh sorry…ummmmm watch out for the cyclops, you uh… dirty yankees…yeah thats it.
I’d rather be sodomized by an elephant seal than watch this utter piece of shit again.
I love how, during the part with the “Indians,” the background music sounds just like the music from “Seven Samurai.”
