Skimming through the NEC 2014, I cannot seem to find anything forbidding this; it only says to connecting ground-ground.
I want to settle a debate.
My specific curiosity is this; If you have a ground wire from a dimmer switch, what are (if any) potential issues with wire nutting it to an AC cable bonding strip? Assuming the AC cable sheath and wall boxes are connecting properly, it doesn’t seem like it would make much of a difference, or cause any issues. Can someone correct me if I am wrong. Just trying to learn things.
Thanks.
