Had a snow day from school today (3rd grade teacher) and had a chance to do a whole lot more research on all the digital camera review sites…
Since I wrote my last post (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=167541), I have expanded my list a bit, to the 4 cameras named in the subject line. The Canon is running in first place right now–it uses standard AA sized batteries instead of a proprietary one, it has a great feature set/controls, it uses standard Compact Flash cards, the size and weight are good, and Canon has a very strong repuation with its previous cameras.
Any thoughts/opinions/etc.?
