Canon Bridge Cameras

I’m a pretty big fan of the Canon bridge cameras. The small image sensor sucks at times, but the outrageous zoom, flippable LCD viewfinder, electronic viewfinder, and the ability to use filters with an adapter are things I like. I had an S5 that eventually decided it only wanted to take 10 pictures on a set of batteries, now my SX20 is acting persnickety. Both I bought used.

Time to look for another used camera. Since it’s time to move on, I guess I have a choice of an SX30, SX40, SX50, or SX60 on the used market. Anyone familiar with the line have an opinion on which is the best bang for the buck on the used market or if one model is noticeably better than another. I’ve heard bad things about the SX30 for example. This is where the line lost the advantage of using AA batteries that you can buy in any store without much other improvements to compensate.
