I wonder if that really works… can you really bake cookies in 200 degrees? Because whenever I bake cookies, the recipe calls for the oven to be set at 350 degrees. I doubt the cookies would cook all the way at only 200 degrees…
I don’t see why it wouldn’t work; they’re not going to bake brown that way, but they could certainly bake and turn crispy. The lower temperature is presumably compensated by the longer cooking time.
What about foods that aren’t cookies? Could you bake chicken or something in your car? What about bread? I suppose making a meat product this way wouldn’t be the smartest thing you could ever do, but interesting none the less.
