Car rental companies in California - experiences?

My daughter is flying out to San Fransico, California. She and a friend would like to rent a vehicle to drive down to San Diego.

One of the rental companies is one I’m not familiar with, Fox. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I rented a PT Cruiser from Fox a week ago. No huhu. Cheap, quick, no hassles. YMMV.

Was this for a few days, silenus? Their prices seem to be the lowest, and seem to give less aggravation to the under-25 crowd. She will need the car for 4 days.
