Cardio help

I’ve been going to the gym off and on for awhile now, and my cardio work has gotten really boring. Physically, I can keep going, but mentally I’m done after a half hour. Any tips for getting back on track?

Stick to a half hour. Although you won’t see results as quickly, it’ll be easier for you to adhere to the program.

Try doing a dance routine/martial arts workout/Tai Chi thingum. Any one of those should keep your mind occupied for years.

Are you wearing a headset? Music helps me keep going.

Really, you just need to vary it. You don’t say what kind of cardio you’re doing, but if it’s bike/stairmaster/treadmill/similar device, try one of the other ones, or do aerobics (one of the many forms), or run/bike/walk outside (more to see!), etc.

Any routine will get boring after a while, you need to change things up to keep the interest level, and your participation, up.
