I work in company A in x. I plan on staying with my current career long term until I can transfer to company B in y. The two companies are comparatively interchangeable; the variable is the rub. Sure, I can advance company A from x to y but the other company has the better variable. In the 5-10-15 years until then… could I transfer my knowledge to the other company?
I feel as if I am biding my time. I am where I want to be, but, even better would be the next step, and it’s just a step away! But (and here I’m being poetic instead of analytical) no, it’s a leap away.
