Then too, with a multiple-step disciplinary process you’ll inevitably get nitpicking debates over whether the proper sequence was followed:
“Hey, you banned Doper X without going through a Step 4(a)(6) one-week suspension from GD and the Pit first!”
“Yeh, why didn’t you at least use the Step 2(h) three-day restriction to MPSIMS, and then the 3(b)(5)(iii) 50-word-per-post limit, at least for the first 30 days after Doper X came off of the Step 3(b)(2) two-post-per-day restriction?”
I’m not sure. It’s very likely I missed someone (or someones), so I hope Whammo doesn’t mind too much that I kicked the spotlight over to him. 
Hey, that’s nothing! I remember one time when everyone on the board, administrators included, were banned for about six hours before coming back. OK, so that one was a collosal mistake, but it did happen.
