Carnatic Classical Music is the classical music form of South India. It is one of the oldest forms of music, taken birth from the Vedas (ancient sacred Hindu verses). I am using this forum here to actually find out how many people here know about Carnatic Classical music. Personally, I am one of very few people in the world who have adapted the guitar to Carnatic classical music (self-promotional link deleted by forum moderator). I have moved to New York now and it would be of great help of you people here can give me feedback on your knowledge of carnatic music so that I can include more points in my future lecture-demonstrations.
