I’ve heard this story mentioned a number of times, but never heard the original source ID’d. Is the source reputable? Not? Has the administration ever been asked about/responded to this story?
(I see that, earlier on that page, they mention “Bin Laden: The Forbidden Truth,” by Jean-Charles Brisard and Guillaume Dasquie … but don’t clearly attribute the carpet story to them. Are they the source?)
This is tinfoil hat territory, IMHO. The site seems to imply that GWB allowed the 9/11 terror attacks to take place, launched a war, destabilized the Argentine economy, and risked becoming the most reviled figure in American history, because of a dispute over PLUMBING. It just doesn’t mae sense. One might also wonder why none of the dozens, or perhaps hundreds of people, who must have been involved in this scheme have ever said anything.
The part about the Balkan war being about building an oil and gas pipeline was interesting. It makes me wonder if there is any conflict, anywhere in the world, that is not really part of a plot to build oil and gas pipelines. Does the far left have some kind of fetish for these things?
