i was reading a long time ago about ls/vtec conversions. now that i have a job(money) i want to convert! i truly don’t know much about cars  and searched online but couldn’t find much information. where in the world can i get this kind of conversion done? what are the pros/cons of doing this? how much would it cost? what parts do i need? and is it reliable? thanx! sorrie for a million quesions
I don’t know much about cars either, but I’m sure you would get much better replies if you supplied more detailed information about your current configuration.
Another tip if you want to get quality replies, is to use a spell checker. (And why not start sentences with an upper case letter?)
That kind of “cool” spelling is maybe not quite frowned upon, but neither does it convey the kind of erudition that we all associate with the board.
[sup](And by the way, if there are grammatical errors in this post, I’ve got a get-out-of-jail-card: It’s not my native language)[/sup]
im sorrie “tc” … if you don’t appreciate the way i type, then why bother to respond. don’t waste your precious time on me. we all have better things to do in life than worrie about petty things like this. you say you don’t know much about cars, and there were no responses, so why did you read my thread anyway?
but you’re right about more information. i kind of let that one fly. i have a non-vtec b18b1, and want to convert to a vtec (b18c) head
I re-read the OP, and the only “cool spelling” I found was ‘gurls’ (could’ve been a typo, for all you know… the ‘u’ and ‘i’ are next to each other), and thanx, with which I doubt anyone here would have a problem.
There’s absolutely no need to be so critical of someone’s typing, when there’s so very little wrong with it in the first place.
As to the OP, is there an Acura dealer near where you are? If you give them a call, I’m sure they could guide you in the right direction.
