Honda keeps things fairly simple. I don’t know of any website with what you ask for, but I do have some Honda knowledge, so I’ll share:
There are three body styles: two-door hatchback, two-door coupe, four-door sedan. (There hasn’t been a four-door station wagon in a long time.)
Trim levels:
DX: This is the ugly, cheap one. You have to roll down your own windows, lock your own doors. The radio is probably AM/FM only, with dealer-installed upgrades. Air conditioning is a dealer installed option.
LX: Power windows, locks, mirrors, and air conditioning. Probably a cassette deck too. Most have keyless entry.
EX: It’s the LX plus a power moonroof, and sometimes a couple other goodies. Keyless entry. Many have a factory alarm system.
Si: This is the sportier model, with a little more power, stiffer suspension, et cetera. I don’t believe there’s a four-door Si.
Type R: This is the ultra-sporty one, and I’m pretty sure you can’t get one of these in North America. But that doesn’t stop a lot of idiots from buying “Type R” stickers from Pep Boys and plastering their poor car with them.
HX: I honestly have no idea what an HX is, but I’ve seen them around. I think it might have been an extra-fuel-efficient version.
So there you pretty much have it; pick your body style and trim line, then shop around.
Also, the '92-95 bodystyle is kind of plain and squarish, and I’d imagine they don’t cost a whole lot to buy used.
The 1996-2000 style looks really nice. For 1999-2000, they switched to a more conventionally-shaped radio, and perhaps made some other changes.
