Well, what are we looking for in our new Bond? Frankly, I love Sean Connery. Chauvenistic, yet classy. Violent, yet tender. Scottish, yet doesn’t have relations with sheep.
Just the perfect edge mix. So we need to have a Bond who can do that. I also read and loved the books, so I’m partial to the Bond illustrated in those, which is the complete opposite of that sissy Brosnan. Can’t stand him.
What about Russell Crowe?
Heh. Not too long ago, a couple of my friends and I were discussing the pros and cons of Ewan M as Bond.
Hugh Jackman has a lot of the same appealing elements as Sean Connery. I’d love to see him take a crack at the role.
If Robson Green ever plays Bond I’m throwing my TV out. Agh.
I do like Russell Crowe, but he’ll need a haircut and a shave, and he’ll have to quit drinking the Foster’s and start drinking Martini’s shaken not stirred. I
don’t think he would do James Bond, I would mind seeing RC as a villian though.

I was thinking of him too. Take his character from Kate & Leopold mix in a little from X-Men and add just a dash of Swordfish. 20 minutes at 350, and you get 007.
Yeah, I’d go with that suggestion. That would be very interesting.
I had been tossing that idea around too before I settled on Owen.
Jonny Lee Miller might be able to pull it off as well (and he does a good Connery impression (re: Trainspotting).
Never Robson Green, and Timothy Dalton shouldn’t have been allowed to make the ones he did, never mind make any more!!
James Purefoy, from A Knight’s Tale and Resident Evil would be a good Bond.
