Casting bias against busty actresses?

SF women tend naturally to have larger breasts. No doubt this is due to an alien plot to take over our media and render us all mindless vegetables, easy dis … oooh, shiny!

Except for Lisa Nichole Carson who apparently got ALL the cleavage on that show.

If you’re gonna go with sexy-busty-fat, you gotta go for the Saras: Sara Rue and Sara Ramirez.

This is just looking for offense. The same thing can be said for overly-muscled guys.

And pad, apparently. From her natural D to a DD for the role.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is very busty and her large breasts were basically used as props in nearly every episode of The New Adventures of Old Christine. The writing of the show was tailored around Julia’s big boobs, just like Stacked was for Pamela Anderson. Here’s a few links to articles about Julia’s breasts in “Old Christine” and a few pics of Julia’s giant rack in the show:

“…Christine); her breasts, which are constantly in use as props, deserve their own billing in the opening credits.”

They discussed her big tits at the end of this article too.

“But Christine had to pull out the big guns (“everybody speaks boob”)”

“Other sexual content includes dialogue about Christine’s breasts,”

I agree, but I note that overly muscled guys are often not used for supposedly intelligent roles. I remember people saying that Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson) on Stargate SG-1 looked too buff to be a scientist.

Almost every episode of “The New Adventures of Old Christine” was about how big Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s boobs are.

Right, exactly. My point was that you can’t point to big-boobed women not getting respect as some kind of sexist crime against women, since the exact same thing happens to overly-muscled men. It’s not a sexist thing, it’s an appearance-ist thing.

And there’s really nothing wrong with either, IMO.

Rules of Engagement:
Megyn Price
and
Bianca Kajlich.

I’ll be in my bunk.

Only to three. (sorry, old Firesign Theater joke).

And you totally missed Sophia Vergara on ABC.

I think this is fairly false. First, several popular adult stars are small-chested. Second, they are as or more prone to fake titties than standard Hollywood. Third, many “clean role” actresses are prettier than many porn actresses.

They may have made a gag out of her breasts, and played them up in the dialogue (and thus the entertainment news), but I don’t think they’re particularly large. YMMV.

Yeah, this is exactly what I was thinking as going through this thread.

Are there any busty zombies on “The Walking Dead”?

You would think that the breasts would be the first things to go on a zombie.

If it matters, in an interview at the time, she claimed to be a natural C, and that the padding took her to a D.

Judge for yourself (SFW). I think they’re lovely but only just above average.

I looked up the pictures of Reese Witherspoon in Twilight. She’s not busty in those pictures, not even close. If Reese Witherspoon is busty, then any woman who is literally not flat-chested is busty. “Busty” doesn’t mean “has breasts.” It means has big breasts. You’d have to use every kind of modern technology to create any kind of cleavage with what’s available in those pictures.

Damn! You’re right!
