At the suggestion of Gorgon Heap in an animated movies thread I am opening this.
I love the Battletech/Mechwarrior sci-fi genre. In particular I believe that the Return of Kerensky Trilogy is the crown jewel of the series.
My greatest dream would be to see this series on film.
Although animation would be a major part I think a fusion like the LOTR movies would be far more successful. The question…who to cast.

Hohiro Kurita - Chow Yun Fat
Omi Kurita - Lucy Lu (although I think she would make a rockin Sharilar Mori as well)
Victor Davion - Michael J Fox would have been so cool for this but I am going to lean towards Sean Astin This in IMHO is one of the hardest to cast roles.
Phelan Kell/Ward - Nicholas Cage (pretty much has to be an action star).
