I foolishly offered to host a semi-annual get-together for some old school friends and their kids (including tots). I realized that Mr Boozilu will be out of town, and I’ll have my hands full getting the house and kids ready.
Any suggestions for a casual eatery that could provide eats for us? The Noodle Company is a place near us with take-out in large portions, but I’m thinking that would be too messy.

Lots of more casual places offer catering stuff - Qdoba, for example, and Jimmy Johns, off the top of my head. You might have some good local places as well - here the Greek restaurants all do it, as do sandwich places.
Get a big sandwich from Subway or similar, some chips, cookies, cokes. You’re done.
Or the deli at your local grocery store may but together various offerings–think ours does box lunches, veggie/cookie/meat platters, that sort of thing.
