Catch any of that storm last night?

Did last night’s storm make anyone else feel a little shell-shocked? My power flickered twice…if it had gone out again*, I seriously think I might have cried. Just a little.

Ours came back on Friday night around 10ish and we were able to move back in after spending a week at my in-laws’ place.

I spent the worst of last night’s storm whispering “please no, please no, not again”. That really convinced me that I will feel a lot more secure in my home once we get a generator installed.

Still no power here in Burke VA. We were teased by the power coming on for one minute last night, but whatever they tried didn’t seem to take.

Also in Burke. We left on vacation at seven and got far enough north to avoid it. Neighbors say power was off 26 hours.
