Not sure if “Catchphrase” is the right way to say it,but here are my examples of what I am asking for…
Detroit Lions- Restore the Roar
GB Packers- The Pack is Back
pittsburgh steelers-One for the Thumb in '81

New York Mets - Ya Gotta Believe!
All the ones I root for: “Wait until next year!”
1980s Lakers - Showtime
Austin Peay (college) - The Fly is open. Let’s Go Peay!
“Why not us?” 2004 Red Sox
In the Eighties, the Detroit Tigers had “Bless You, Boys!”
College football teams have loads of catchphrases, like…
Hook 'em, Horns!
Gig 'em!
Roll Tide!
War Eagle!
The New Orleans Saints had/have “Who Dat?”
The Oakland Raiders have always used the catchphrase “Pride and Poise.”
1980’s White Sox: **Winning Ugly. **
The SF Giants a few years back: “Fear the beard”.
The University of Maryland, whose sports teams go by the nickname Terrapins, use the humorous slogan “Fear the Turtle”.
The University of Akron, whose sports teams’ mascot is a Kangaroo named Zippy, use a humorous take-off on that slogan, Fear the Roo.
Their basketball players also had a reputation for not being terribly interested in academics. I once read that somebody at a Duke basketball game against Maryland created a sign that said “Fear the Classroom.” I’m no Duke fan, but I must admit it was very clever.
Texas Tech Red Raiders: “Get your guns up!” At home games it’s common for half of the stadium to chant “RAIDER” and the other half to reply “POWER”.
That’s one thing I’ll give Duke - they always had the best barbs.
New England Patriots: “It is what it is.”
Also “Do your job.” And if you count fan slogans, “Fear the Hoodie” and “In Bill We Trust”.
Los Angeles Lakers - “Three-peat”
OK, maybe it’s not a catchphrase, and it most certainly didn’t originate in LA, but Pat Riley did successfully trademarkit in 1999 after the Lakers’ third straight NBA Championship, and has made a few bucks off of it in the years since.
