Catfishing, a daily Wikipedia trivia game

I was on fire today

The egg was because I thought the article was about both Butch & Sundance

I think I understand how this works.

Interesting.

I had no clue about the first question.

I (mentally) flipped a coin and lost.

Oof, I did bad today.

For the third one, I thought โ€œOh, I bet itโ€™s the guy that killed Oswald. What was his name? Jack something? Jackโ€ฆ Rose?โ€ Well, at least I got the first letter.

Then, I misspelled Phnom Penh.

Personally, when I know the answer confidently, but make a typo in the entry box, I count that as a correct answer.

I got the easy ones.

Jack Ruby, The Whale, and Minotaur.

Thatโ€™s my favorite Chronicles of Narnia book.

I felt bad for missing #6, but the other two I wouldnโ€™t have gotten.

Could have done better but blanked on Big Sur and put Watership Down after deciding Velveteen Rabbit was wrong - oops. Definitely two I never would have gotten: the architect and the body of water.

I am not happy that the game gave me half a point for Isabella the First of Castille when they wanted Isabella I. of Castille (or was it the other way around?). I will mentally award myself 6 points. Sorry, I mean six points.
And I donโ€™t know whether it is the game itself or wikipedia as a whole, but the questions seem too USA-centered to be fair to non US-ians. Or maybe most of the people who suggest questions are from the USA. Perhaps I should suggest some words too, from far away? Weโ€™ll see.

I just wrote Isabella and got awarded full credit.

I like that feature. Washington Post has a daily news trivia question, but you have to spell answers exactly right. Is that Meghan Markle or Megan Markel? If I ever look things up, itโ€™s just for the spelling. (Usually.)

I like this game. Installed the app version and put it on my home page.

Whatโ€™s the app version called? I donโ€™t see it on the Play Store.

Iโ€™m flabbergasted that the majority of players knew what #9 was. I guess Iโ€™m out of the loop.
