Things like this are difficult to catagorize, but I think Anglicanism would fit into the Orthodox mold. A lot of religious scholars seperate Christianity into three basic catagories - Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant (and sometimes “Other” to deal with such things as Adventistism, Quakerism, Unitarianism, etc.) There is some overlap, of course, but Protestantism is usually thought to stem from the Lutheran and Calvinist reformers. Of course this line of thinking gets into trouble with Methodism, which grew out of the Anglican church but today is almost always considered a protestant movement.

Anglicanism was the “flavor” created by Henry VIII’s break from the Catholic Church, and it has more in common with Catholicism than Orthodoxy.
The Orthodox Schism dates from 1054 AD, and was a break between Eastern and Western rites.
Calvinism was an offshoot of Lutheranism; Weselayism (Methodism) arose in England as a subdivision of Anglicanism.

I thought Weasleyism arose at Hogwarts.
Oddly enough, Dave Brubeck himself is a devout convert to Catholicism!

About ten years ago my grandparents attended church with me, an Episcopal service. My grandfather leaned over after the procession and asked “What are you, some kind of Catholic?” I think he was trying to sound non-judgemental. I said no but I should have said “Yeah, some kind of Catholic.”
You could have said you were a Roaming Catholic.
“Miss Climpson is a nice lady and that I must say, even if she is a Roaming Catholic, or next door to one.”
Lord Peter thought that Roaming Catholic was rather an appropriate name for the more ultramontane section of the High Church party.
Hey. VOW , hello from another convert! Mr. Lissar and I joined together at Easter Vigil 2007, after basically reading our way into the Church.
Yeah, I’m not seeing anything in your post that would disqualify catholics as being christian.
It’s an attempt at spamming, note the link.
Reported.
I agree, but read the linked page. It’s like one of those generate-a-business-memo-using-the-current-buzzwords joke programs that people used to pass around. There is no possible way anyone could figure out what he is trying to promote. In fact, it’s hilarious.

You should be careful about recommending spam links. For all you know, it’s not promoting anything, and the content was just copied from somewhere else, but it also has code you don’t see that loads something on your system. Even if it had no effect on you, because you use a different browser or a better AV product, it might screw up somebody else who clicks the link on your recommendation.
Well, ghostery only found 3 things and they were all google: google+, google analytics and google connect.
I think they may mean “Popery.” “Papery” is a cutesy word for a shop that sells gift wrap and note cards and such.
Probably my error, conflating the terms popery and papist. Apologies.
(Amusing sidelight, tho’! Thank you! It sounds like the kind of boutique gift shop I’d enjoy visiting!)
The last is A TRUE CHRISTIAN has a lots of Memory Verse
You Mormons learn your scriptures. We Catholics regard that as a really Protestant thing to do.
Assuming you mean that Catholics don’t memorize the bible. Do you mean that? I can’t tell.
Protestants don’t memorize the Bible either. They just memorize the verses that they think tell them what they want to hear.
Popery, on the other hand, is what you put in the bathroom to keep it smelling nice.
On the Simpsons tonight, Rev Lovejoy described a singer as “the CHRISTIAN Madonna.” My first guess was that this referred to her lifestyle, but then I thought of it as Catholic Bashing." But a daughter asked, “Isn’t Madonna Jewish?”
“No,” but then I remembered her conversion. This was the rarely-seen TRIPLY-offensive gag!

And on a fourth level, some might say that the original “Christian Madonna” is, or at least once was, the Virgin Mary.
