I have a cat named Inky who’s so smart, it’s scary! He understands English, and I mean stuff that cats aren’t supposed to understand. He knows all and sees all… and loves french fries. Heaven help you if you don’t share with Lord Inkleton!

My kitten Ninja loves playing fetch. He sometimes even drops the ball in my lap and meows. Ocassionally though, he’ll fetch the ball and run off somewhere.

How DO you get her to actually speak? 
We have 2 Bengals. VERY active.
lnix: that sounds like a “hunting trill”, which cats do to call other cats to help hunt, or when they are frustrated in their hunting.
winkin the wonderful will fetch only tinsel balls. i call them winkin balls, only winkin likes them. she will bring the ball to me while i’m in the bathroom and only then.
the ball must be thrown through the crack of the door and down the stairs. she will then bring it back for me to do it again. when she tires of this she will not come back up the stairs, she will go to the kitchen and put the ball into the food dish. she will wierdly enough “sing” to the ball. she sounds rather like a humpback whale. the winkin ball is held in her mouth throughout the entire song. the song lasts about 2-3 minutes. she will go through verse after verse until you respond to the song. ooooohhhhh, wiiiiinkiiiiin ballllll, oooohhhhh.
nod the naughty is a goalie. she hops into a box (we always have an empty box around for her.) and stares at you until you throw those plastic bottle tabs to her. she will then defend the box from the tab. i have quite a collection of tabs 'cause nod doesn’t bring them back, she just “sets” herself for the next tab. it is very hard to get one by her. sometimes if the toss is too wide she just watches it go by and gives you a " is that the best you could do " look.
neither of the girls will play with the other’s favourite. the kitty bird is something both will play, but only with human help.
